Yesterday was Jonathan's birthday. He is now a whopping 4 yrs old! How fast they grow...*sigh* Jason had duty yesterday, so we did his little bday party at home on friday evening. We had spaghetti, his favorite, for supper. Then we had his cookie-cake and presents. Jonathan is not one for a lot of cake, so I decided to make him a cookie-cake. It was sugar cookie wieh icing decorations, and his Lightning McQueen Shake and Go car on top. He has the shake and go racetrack, but we found the Lightning at Toys R Us a few weeks ago and knew we had to have it for his birthday. He loved Cars! That will definitely be a christmas present if they have it out in time. I am sure that they will. ANyway, here's a pic of him on his b-day. We laughed so hard at him...with every present he squealed like a little girl! He was so funny!!!

Well, we survived the our 2nd major earthquake. The first was in Oklahoma about 8 years ago. That was a 4.4, yesterday's was a 6.6. Actually there were 3 major ones (6.6, 5.3, and 4.4), then approximately 18 aftershocks. We only actually felt the first one, but it shook us out of bed. The kids all came running into our room asking WHAT'S THAT??? LOL The power went off about 5 minutes later. It was out all day, from about 7am-6pm. Just as Jason opened light sticks for the kids to take to bed, the lights came on. You could hear people hollering all over the neighborhood, to include ME! LOL WOOHOO!!! It was a looooooooooooong day. Anyway, all is well here now. Schools were open and everything was pretty much back to normal. Some stop lights were still out today, so traffic was a bit crazy. Hopefully, all will be on in the next day or so. Thanks to everyone that called(and left messages), or emailed. Good to know you are out there thinking about us!!!

Well, she has been begging for a haircut for a while now. So I finally decided to do it today. Not too bad if I do say so myself. I told her that hairdresser/beautician is one of the MANY "hats" that I wear. LOL Good thing she trusts her dear old mom! Anyway, she likes it and was happy to have a new hair-do to show off to her friends.
Here's my rockin' boys! All the kids have always loved music, but these boys are so funny. They have to get their "guitars" and jam to the music all the time! We are actually thinking of getting a little drum set for christmas...someone PLEASE talk me out of it!!! LOL
