We took Austin for his MRI yesterday. All went pretty well, but it was a LONG day. We don't have any results yet, but we should hear something by Monday. I tell you, it was heart-wrenching to see him sedated. He is always so full of energy, so to see him laying there totally motionless was weird. When he started to wake up, his head would just bobble around. You could tell by the look in his eyes that he was just out of it. Once he was awake enough, they brouht him a popsicle. He missed his mouth more times that I could count. At one point, he held it up and said "daddy, there's 2 of them". We just laughed!!! He was quite a funny little drunk boy! LOL We were at the hospital for about 1 1/2 hours after the MRI. He was still a little fuzzy for about 1-2 hours after we got home. It was like his head was normal, but his body hadn't caught up yet. He would stumble around and walk crooked around the house. It didn't take too long and he was back to normal again. He slept pretty good last night, and is fine this morning.
Now, it is the waiting game that is hard. They said that the results should be in on friday, so we can try to call the doc. But, we have an appt on monday, so we will know something then for sure.
