Girls night out at the bowling alley

Tonight was another Parents Night Out. We went bowling and had a blast. Here's a few pics of the fun...
Check out my strikes! First frame was a bust, but then I hit a good streak!!! LOL
It was cosmic bowling, so we were glowing! LOL Here are my socks and shoelaces all lit up! Here's the girls from our bowling night...Jamie, Carissa, Tracy, Kim, and me

New hair cut

I got a new haircut yesterday. I have had a style like this before, so it isn't all that new, but it is nice to have a change.

Allison's sleepover

Last night, Allison had a few friends sleepover for her bday. Here they are watching her open a few presents. There's Lizzie, Danielle, Marleigh, Allison and Austin. Austin HAD to be involved with the opening of the presents...

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you...
WOW! Thats a big glow coming off all those candles! LOL
Make a wish!
This morning, we had breakfast and went to the movies. I took the girls to see "The Rocker" before they all went home. It was very cute, and they enjoyed eating all the normal movie snacks! LOL I think it turned out to be a pretty good bday for her!

wednesday updates

I heard from Jason today. He is now in Kuwait. He should be back in the sandbox within a day or two. He sounded good, just exhausted. We are both ready for him to get back and settled back in again, so that we can get the next 6 months OVER WITH!!!

On another note, some friends and I had an 80's themed bday party last night. It was a lot of fun. We all dressed up and watched/listened/sang to hits from the 80's. Here's a few pics of the excitement...

goodbye dreamlife, hello reality

Jason left today to go back to Iraq. It totally sucks. Megan started crying this morning getting ready for school, and ended the day crying herself to sleep in bed. Austin keeps saying "I miss daddy" and "Daddy will be home after Christmas". (of course, he wont be home until around february, but Austin has no concept of time yet) Jonathan told Jason this "I will miss you daddy. I will have dreams about you, but dont make me cry like you did last time." Kailyn and Allison just tried to stuff the emotions and not cry, but the look on their faces was enough to send the tears down mine. It is always so hard. It does NOT get any easier each time. We just learn that we have to cope and make it through to the end. That is the ONLY good part about today...we can start actually couting DOWN to his homecoming again! He shoud be home in just under 6 months now. Let the countdown begin...

Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park

On Sunday, we went to Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park. We all had a blast. The girls had fun riding the big waterslides AND the kiddie ones, and the boys loved the keiki zones. Didn't get any action pics b/c of the water issue, but here are a couple of us leaving at the end of our fun day!

He is finally home!!!!!!!

After what has seemed like an eternity, Jason is home for R&R. He has been gone for 8 1/2 months, and now he is home for 18 days. It isn't long, but it is sooooo worth it! Austin has re-attached right to his hip. Jonathan and Megan are not far behind. It has been so wonderful to have him home, and I am tryng my hardest NOT to think about him leaving again. We have sme fun things planned to do while he is home, and I promise to post pictures when I can!
